FMS Expands Client Base with Contract Win for Accounting and Finance Services to the U.S. Senate

Washington, DC (December 18, 2008) - FMS was recently awarded an IDIQ contract with the United States Senate, Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) for accounting, financial analysis, and related review services.

Under this 5 year IDIQ, FMS will conduct accounting and finance reviews, general financial analysis, asset management activities, business process reviews, and internal accounting controls evaluation for the U.S. Senate SAA. Task orders will also include reviews for the purpose of making recommendations on improving existing procedures or assisting in the development of accounting and finance documentation and their maintenance.

“Our wide range of accounting and financial management capabilities – in, budgeting, obligation processing and reconciliation, vendor payments, asset management, debt management, travel management, internal controls and audit support – is a good match for an IDIQ contract like this,” according to Aubrey Stephenson, President of FMS. “By being able to combine our depth of services, we can better meet the increasing needs of our clients for integrated approaches and deliver high quality results.”

“We welcome this new partnership between FMS and the U.S. Senate, the world’s greatest deliberative body, and we are honored to have them as a valued client,” said Aubrey Stephenson, President of FMS.
